Tile Restoration
Your roof is a major investment that needs to be protected.
Cal-Vintage Roofing provides homeowners an alternative
to replacing their tile roofs. Uni-Glaze is a high
performance, heat reflective; thermoplastic coating
that restores aging tile roofs. We are the only Sacramento
based authorized applicator of the Uniglaze Tile Restoration
System. Tile restoration is a seven step process.
- We will provide a free evaluation of your roof
- Power wash your roof to remove the mold, mildew,
minerals and salt deposits
- Replace and repair damaged
tiles and metal flashings as needed
- Apply one coat
of the bonding sealer
- Apply two coats of the heat-reflective
colored paint
- Apply one coat of the waterproofing
glaze
- Complete clean-up
Our environmentally safe, highly reflective, waterproof
coatings protect against infrared and UV radiation.
They are mold and mildew resistant and can reduce your
energy costs as much as 50 %( house will be cooler
in the summer!). Uni-glaze meets and exceed the Cool
Roof Rating Council requirements. Tile restoration
will provide up to 15 years of protection and it comes
with our 10 year workmanship and material warranty.
The restoration process can usually be completed within
4-5 days.
