and flat roof systems over both residential and commercial
roof structures.
All of our pitched and low-sloped
roof systems are properly permitted and installed by
factory-certified technicians according to the manufacturer’s
specifications and the industry’s ‘best practice’ guidelines.

Asphalt-Composition
based ‘Capsheet’ and Rubberized, Modified Bitumen
Membranes – (Low-sloped Roofing)
Cal-Vintage Roofing often utilizes granulated-surfaced, asphalt-composition based
rolled ‘capsheet’ and rubberized modified-bitumen membranes to properly roof
in low-sloped areas such as ‘hog valleys’ and ‘crickets’ of otherwise standard-pitched
roof systems. These self-adhering (‘peel and stick’), chemically bonding membranes
are much safer and more environmentally friendly than hot asphalt or open flame,
torch-applied applications and require no solvent based adhesives during installation.
The granulated low-sloped membrane colors can often be matched quite closely
with those of the shingles, tiles or wood shakes installed over pitched roof
slopes of your home or building. All low-sloped roof applications (i.e. hog valleys
and crickets) that are installed in conjunction with standard-pitched roofing
projects receive five (5) year workmanship warranties from Cal-Vintage Roofing.
Manufacturer material warranties provided may be from 10 to 20 years, depending
upon the low-sloped/flat roof system utilized.

Single-ply
TPO Thermoplastics – (Low-sloped and
Flat Roofing)
Cal-Vintage Roofing uses single-ply Thermoplastic
Olefin (TPO) ‘Cool
Roofing’ applications and systems on stand-alone,
flat or low-sloped roof structures of both residential
and commercial buildings. The California Energy
Commissions rating of TPO applications
as GREEN ‘Cool Roofing’ solutions can mean rebates
from PG&E. or SMUD (and loans from
SMUD) for our clients who qualify. Stand alone,
flat and low-sloped “cool roofing’ applications
normally include five (5) year workmanship and
Lifetime material warranties, depending
upon the low-sloped/flat roof system utilized.
